Farm Tours
We are now offering periodic tours of both the Oyster Farm and our Vineyard during the summer. To check availability or to book a spot, just click on the floating "Book Now" button.
Boat Tour/Tasting: Join us for a unique tour of our farm, home to both a Vineyard and an Oyster Farm, and learn about both! Your 2 hour experience starts at our private dock with a boat tour of Old Plantation Inlet, where our Oyster Farm is located, aboard our covered oyster barge. The Inlet is very calm and sheltered, no big waves, and chairs will be provided during the trip. Here, you'll see firsthand how oysters are cultivated and cared for, and learn about various techniques and traditions. After heading back to the dock, we'll walk through our vineyard, sharing the basics of small scale grape cultivation and craft winemaking. Then, with the water where the oysters are grown on one side and the vines on the other, we’ll pair our oysters with several of our wines, and learn about why these two delicacies go so well together. This tour offers a combined glimpse into the meticulous processes behind both oyster farming and viticulture, and promises an insightful, engaging, and unique experience of both the land and water of the Eastern Shore.
Tasting Only: Join us on our farm for a unique tasting adventure, a pairing of our premium Eastern Shore oysters with several of our craft wines! As the only combination Vineyard/Oyster Farm on the East Coast, we’re uniquely positioned to pair these delicacies while explaining their cultivation. The tasting will take place on a shaded platform overlooking both our vineyard and the water where the oysters are grown. We’ll pair the oysters with various wines and with several craft mignonette sauces, and gain unique insight into why this unique pairing has been revered for thousands of years.
- Our oyster barge is covered but we’ll likely be out in the sun at various times, so sun hats and sunscreen are recommended. There's a maximum of 6 people per tour. No children under age 13.
